Swearing In Ceremony — Wednesday, January 9th

The 97th General Assembly begins with the swearing in ceremony in the Senate chambers.
2013 Inauguration Activities — Monday, January 14th
8:30 a.m.: Worship Service at 1st Baptist Church, 301 Capitol Avenue
10 a.m.: Inaugural Parade begins at corner of Adams & High Streets
11:15 a.m.: Swearing In Ceremony for statewide officials on the South Capitol Steps
1:30 p.m.: Reception with Governor and First Lady at the Governor’s Mansion
1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Best of Missouri Reception at the Capitol Plaza Hotel
7 p.m.: Grand March at the Capitol Rotunda
8 p.m.: Inaugural Ball at the Capitol Rotunda (Black Tie Optional)
